Register for the SAAHE Interview Conference

Registration

Only candidates who receive an official invitation are eligible to attend the conference. Invitations will be sent via email after the academic interview that happens early January.

All candidates must complete an online registration form to officially register for the SAAHE Interview Conference. The registration form can be accessed below. If, for any reason, you decide you cannot attend after you have registered, please email Dr. Melanie McKoin Owens.

Registration is due by Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026 by 5 p.m. CST.

Graduate Assistantships

You will interview for available graduate assistantships as a part of the Interview Conference. To assist us with the scheduling process, review the available position descriptions that will be offered at the conference.

All candidates must submit the SAAHE Candidate GA Position Preference Form no later than Jan. 30, 2026. If this form is not submitted by the deadline, candidates will be assigned to available position descriptions based on schedule availability. Please attend the SAAHE Virtual Open House on Jan. 28, 2026, before submitting your preference form.

General Conference Information

Once you have registered for the conference, you will be assigned a current SAAHE student as your conference host. Your host can answer questions or be a resource for you as you prepare for the conference. Please feel free to ask your host any question you have, whether it is about the conference, the SAAHE program, assistantships, or even having a social life while in graduate school. We want you to have as much information as you need to make your decision about graduate school.
