Vice President's Office

The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs (OVPSA) serves and supports 17 different departments within the Division of Student Affairs that are critically engaged in all aspects of students’ lives and the delivery of key services and support. The OVPSA works with departments to create environments that help students grow, develop, learn, and enhance the quality of their lives by providing opportunities for students to experience education and explore interests beyond the classroom.

In support of the mission, values, and policies of Texas A&M University, the OVPSA promotes collaboration and coordinating efforts that affect the entire division; such as strategic planning, budgeting, diversity and community development, research, assessment, public relations, fundraising, and technology. It also manages the student conduct process for Texas A&M University through the Student Conduct Office.

Business Office

As part of the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs, the Business Office provides business and human resource support for departments and coordinates a number of administrative resources within the division. The office also manages the annual budget process and serves as a liaison between the Division of Student Affairs and all financial entities across the Texas A&M University.

Development Office

The Student Affairs Development Office works with former students, corporations and other Texas A&M supporters to match their charitable interests with the Division of Student Affairs' priorities. Your gifts create scholarships, enhance student programs and fund new buildings. Development Officers for the Texas A&M Foundation work with the Student Affairs Development Office to facilitate the gift giving process.

The Texas A&M Foundation is a 501(c) (3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization that exists for the benefits of Texas A&M University. Gifts made to the Foundation are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Marketing and Communications

As part of the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs, Marketing & Communications provides intentional, original and expert communication and marketing support to the Division of Student Affairs. Marketing & Communications also offers innovative and strategic solutions to meet the advertising, news, and messaging of needs of the division and its departments.

Through creation and production of professional marketing, promotional and communication materials, Marketing & Communications seeks to enhance the Aggie experience while at Texas A&M University by increasing awareness of the division's unparalleled student support services and facilities.

OUR SERVICES

Marketing and Communications
Assist with strategic planning, coordination and execution of communication and marketing campaigns, including email, web and social media. Review and analyze metrics for web and email communications. Provide strategic branding consultation.

Creative Services
Design consulting and review, including graphic design, photography, videography, print and digital media.

Media Relations
Develop and coordinate news and press releases, facilitate media interviews and identify media opportunities.

Editorial Services
Review, proof, write, edit copy for web updates, brochures, speeches, reports, presentations, and division-level email communications

Web and Social Media Services
Consult and coordinate social media messaging and distribution across multiple platforms.With support from the Department of Information Technology, assist with strategy, development, and review of division websites.
