Our Departments

The Division of Student Affairs is comprised of 13 departments, encompassing every aspect of the Aggie experience. Serving the student body of Texas A&M University, the division is committed to making student-centered, data-informed and knowledge-driven decisions across its resources and programs. The various departments strive to provide students with opportunities to explore their passions, interests and motivations while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Career Center

A tradition of excellence since 1939, the Career Center’s mission is to promote career learning and development, empowering all Aggies to realize their potential and establishing Texas A&M University as a preferred source of talent.

Disability Resources

Disability Resources staff members interact and collaborate with students, faculty and staff to promote an inclusive environment at Texas A&M University by educating the campus community and facilitating appropriate accommodations for students with disabilities.

Marketing & Communications

The Division of Student Affairs Department of Marketing & Communications is comprised of talented professionals from a variety of creative backgrounds. These staff members support the departments and committees in the division with education and outreach for students, faculty and staff.

MSC Programs

MSC Programs promotes leadership development and experiential learning opportunities through academic, entertainment, social, arts, political and cultural awareness campus programs and service opportunities while preparing students to engage in a global society.

Multicultural Services

More widely known as DMS, Multicultural Services offers multiple transition and developmental experiences to cultivate meaningful engagement, foster a culture where students can thrive and develop students’ capacities to work productively and collaboratively.

Music Activities

Music Activities provides more than 1,300 students with diverse performance opportunities on local, national and international stages while maintaining a balanced schedule that accommodates academic and personal interests.

Recreational Sports

With opportunities ranging from personal training and fitness classes to intramural sports and outdoor adventures, Recreational Sports encourages the Aggie community to lead active, healthy lifestyles while fostering community and excellence.

Residence Life

Residence Life offers a world-class on-campus student living and learning experience. With numerous residence hall and apartment housing options in multiple locations, residents enjoy the convenience, community, academic support and security of living on campus.

Student Affairs Planning, Assessment & Research

Student Affairs Planning, Assessment & Research provides quality assessment services, resources and assessment training for departments of the Division of Student Affairs and for student organizations. The department is the only one like it in the country that serves student organizations.

Student Activities

With over 1,300 opportunities for involvement outside of academics, Student Activities creates and fosters leadership and involvement opportunities that enhance the personal, interpersonal and organizational development of students and student organizations.

Student Community Standards

The mission of the Student Community Standards is to cultivate a culture of community responsibility by upholding Texas A&M University’s high standards of conduct and accountability while encouraging development and well-being of all students.

Student Life

Student Life strives to enhance opportunities for students to participate fully in the university experience by providing information, services, programs and involvement opportunities that facilitate responsible life choices and promote self and community awareness.

Veteran Resource & Support Center

The Don & Ellie Knauss Veteran Resource & Support Center provides “application to vocation” services support to all Aggie student veterans and military affiliated students by identifying, developing and delivering uniquely tailored resources and programs.
