Student Affairs welcomes back students back to campus for the Fall 2023 semester.

The Division of Student Affairs spent the summer welcoming current and new Aggies to campus through a variety of events and programs hosted by our departments.
- New Student Conferences saw 12,993 freshman, 2,273 transfer students and 19,859 family members and guests over 23 conferences that ran May through August of 2023.
- Fish Camp hosted 5,387 incoming freshman at 8 camps over 3 weeks from July to August 2023.
- Residence Life moved 12,000 Aggies on campus over the course of 4 days.
- The Corps of Cadets had 857 cadets check-in for Freshman Orientation Week; it's largest freshmen class since 2017.
- New Student & Family Programs put together a robust Howdy Week program consisting of 120 events for students to attend. Some highlights include:
- 2,500 attended Ice Cream Carnival
- 8,000+ attended the Class of '27 photo in Kyle Field
- Approximately 5,000 stopped by to take a first day of class photo on the first two days of classes.
- Student Activities hosted their annual Block Party event and saw approximately 3,700 attendees.
- Rec Sports hosted Rec-A-Palooza and saw approximately 3,800 attendees.
- Greek Life began their recruitment where Collegiate Panhellenic Council had 1,499 women go through the recruitment process and Interfraternity Council had 793 men go through the recruitment process.
- MSC Open House had over 475 student organizations participate in the event this year. Tables expanded through the MSC, Rudder Exhibit Hall, Rudder Plaza, Simpson Drill Field and into Kyle Field Plaza.
