What is the Purpose of Get Involved?

  • Deliver a common platform for all recognized student organizations that is central to the division’s strategy for effective student engagement and “High Impact Practices” (HIP) in support of the university’s objectives for student retention and success
  • Decommission insufficient legacy custom website applications by consolidating them into a single portal (StuAct Online, MaroonLink, FLOverlap, etc.)
  • Designed to provide the flexibility needed to support the diverse and changing functional processes used throughout the division while enabling data-driven decision making and enabling self-service for customers with minimal IT support
  • Best practices (e.g. rubrics, identity-hidden evaluations, accountability)
  • Stakeholder governance for ensuring the involvement and input of key stakeholders to define critical areas of improvement and growth
  • Lower overall service cost by reducing staffing overhead for maintaining multiple systems and legacy applications
Data analytics to inform future decisions on student and staff support

Who Does Get Involved Serve?

  • Student organizations
  • Division of Student Affairs staff
