Dr. Vicki Dobiyanski ‘03, SAAHE Class of ‘06, returned to Texas A&M University in December 2019 as an Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and now serves as Associate Vice President and Chief of Staff for Student Affairs. In her role, she works with Student Affairs Planning, Assessment and Research (SAPAR), Marketing and Communications, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology and Facilities. She advises the Student Affairs Fee Advisory Board (SAFAB) and is secondary advisor to the Texas Aggie Yell Leaders.
Dr. Dobiyanski has over 20 years of experience in higher education and student affairs. In her previous role as Associate Vice President, she provided supervision to the Department of Student Activities, MSC Programs, Recreation Sports, and oversaw Expressive Activity and the Concessions process. Prior to returning to Texas A&M University in 2019, she was the Dean of Students at Florida State University. She also served as the Director of Student Affairs and advisor to the Student Government Association at FSU. Dr. Dobiyanski was a student government advisor at Texas A&M University and the University of Notre Dame earlier in her career. Dr. Dobiyanski’s research interests include campus traditions, student organization advising, and risk management. She recently had the opportunity to teach Working with Adult Groups in the SAAHE program and enjoyed learning and engaging with the students.
