Ms. Sondra White

Director Of Marketing & Communications

In May 2017 Sondra became director of marketing,  a position in which she guides the division’s marketing strategy and growth and assists departments with internal and external marketing and communication initiatives.

Inspired by a long family tradition of San Antonio Aggies, Sondra has used her Texas A&M journalism degree to shape a 30-year career in writing, editing, publications management and now marketing. After living and working overseas in Guam and Hawaii, she returned to Aggieland in 2006, where for 12 years she helped build the marketing program at the Texas A&M Foundation.

She’s a past president and member of the International Association of Business Communicators and the Down Syndrome Association of Brazos Valley (DSABV). When she leaves her office on campus, she’s likely coaching the Special Olympics “Road Rascals” team, volunteering with the DSABV, or heading out on a hiking and camping adventure.
