INVOLVEMENT & ENGAGEMENT

The Division has many opportunities for student involvement. Whether your focus is on politics, religion, service, leadership, the arts or academics, there are hundreds of student organizations, peer leadership programs, and international, cultural opportunities available.

Student Organizations

The Department of Student Activities fosters and supports leadership, learning, and involvement opportunities that enhance the growth and development of students and recognized student organizations.  As members of the university community, we are committed to a philosophy of shared responsibility that develops leaders of character dedicated to serving the greater good, and we subscribe to the Texas A&M core values of Respect, Excellence, Leadership, Loyalty, Integrity, and Selfless Service.

Student Engagement

The Department of Multicultural Services is dedicated to connecting students and has the definitive intent to enhance the overall educational experience of students.  Multicultural Services sponsored student groups provide access to academic, social, cultural, and personal development, as well as opportunities for intentional interaction and engagement.

Visual & Performing Arts

Founded in 1972, MSC OPAS at Texas A&M University presents professional productions of theatre, music, and dance programs that enlighten, entertain, and inspire.

Texas A&M University’s art collections reflect the diverse research, teaching and interpretive endeavors of the faculty, staff, and students. The majority of the collections are American art, with a strong emphasis on Texas art.

Expressive Activity

Music Activities

The Department of Music Activities serves over 1300 students each year and offers them opportunities to participate in a wide variety of musical activities while allowing members time for their studies and other interests. Within the department you will find opportunities to perform outstanding music on formal concerts, travel overseas, and march intricate drill for 105,000 fans. If you are a musician at Texas A&M University, we have a place for you.
