Essence Wylie

Assistant Director of Development

Essence received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University. She was a proud member of the Corps of Cadets and Aggie Band, as well as a Corps Recruiting student worker.  After her senior year, she enlisted in the Army National Guard, and served as part of an Engineer company until August 2022.  Essence previously worked as an Administrative Coordinator II with the Texas A&M University College of Medicine (COM), before spending some time working with local students, teaching ELA and facilitating standardized testing tutorials.  She is excited to be back working with the Corps of Cadets, and will serve as an ambassador of the Texas A&M Foundation and Texas A&M University with responsibility to help unite donor generosity with university vision in support of Texas A&M’s unique role in shaping a better future.
