
Dr. Harrell provides administrative supervision of the Department of Multicultural Services, Disability Resources, the University Art Galleries, and the Don & Ellie Knauss Veteran Resource and Support Center. Dr. Harrell is the chairperson for the University Disciplinary Appeals Panel. Dr. Harrell works with branch and off-site campuses of Texas A&M University and has 25% of her time allocated to supporting the Student Affairs functions at the 11 Texas A&M University System campuses and RELLIS. Dr. Harrell also has responsibilities relating to risk management and compliance for the Division of Student Affairs.
Dr. Harrell came to Texas A&M University after completing her Master of Science at Colorado State University. In her time at the University she served in multiple roles within Student Life. Prior to her work at Texas A&M University, Dr. Harrell working in residence life and housing at both Colorado State University and the University of Washington in Seattle.
In addition to her Master’s degree, Dr. Harrell as a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Washington and graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Administration from Texas A&M University.
Dr. Harrell has been the recipient of the Randy Matson ’67 Association of Former Students Award, has been a Fish Camp and T-Camp Namesake, and received the Dissertation of the Year Award from the Association of Student Conduct Administration.
