The Women's Resource Center houses an extensive (over 1400 holdings) collection of books
(including the
Women's Studies Program's collection of scholarly resources
in Women's Studies), magazines,
videos, and brochures, as well as a
Periodical Archive. The collection includes fiction and non-fiction books,
journals, resource manuals, and magazines dealing with issues of gender,
women, sexual violence, and sexual orientation, including women's studies,
feminist theory, health/reproductive rights, domestic violence, race and
ethnicity, sexuality, technology and other topics. Free informational
brochures are available on numerous topics. Most books can be checked out for a period
of three weeks. Journals, Women in the Curriculum resources, videos and
some books do not circulate, but can be used only in the Women's Resource Center. Faculty interested in updating courses to

which lists resources available for consultation in the Library from the
National Center for Curriculum Transformation Resources on Women at Towson
