The first Division summer program was in 1991 and featured a social in Hensel
Park following a professional development program (summer conference) for staff.
Since then the DSA Annual Summer Social has grown into a major event for DSA
employees and their families. Regular features of the social include a dollar
sale (where participants line up to purchase TAMU T-shirts!), a very competitive
dessert contest, and special programs for kids.
The Summer Social is held each year in late July or early August.
