Be a New Aggie

Fish Camp

Fish Camp welcomes the Freshman class to Texas A&M each year with the purpose of giving them an opportunity to have fun, make friends, and learn more about life at Texas A&M. We hope that through Fish Camp, you will begin finding your place in the Aggie Family before classes even begin!

Fish Camp is led by Texas A&M students who are passionate about making the first year of college a success for the freshmen! Every counselor has valuable personal experience, so they can offer advice about classes, fun things to do in College Station, and anything else you need as you begin your journey as an Aggie!

Grad Camp

Grad Camp is an extended orientation program for graduate students hosted by the Graduate Student Council. Grad Camp is an opportunity for incoming graduate students to meet other graduate students and learn more about life at Texas A&M, learn about opportunities to enhance your graduate experience at A&M and interact with graduate student leaders.

New Student Conferences

New Student Conferences programs provide you with what you will need to get started on your career here at A&M and offer a chance to learn about the many opportunities available to members of the Aggie community. During the conference you will meet in small groups with academic advisors for academic advisement and selection of your courses. Since your first year is important to your continued success at Texas A&M, conferences will acquaint you with student life activities and services available to you at Texas A&M University.
