Need to get to know us better?  Visit our departments page and explore who we are and what we offer.

Disability Services

Disability Services (DS) provides services to students with disabilities to insure accessibility to university programs. DS offers accommodations counseling, evaluation referral, disability-related information, adaptive technology counseling and equipment, and interpreter services for academically related purposes.

GLBT Resource Center

The GLBT Resource Center is a resource and referral center for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender Aggies and their straight supporters. The Center educates campus and community constituencies on GLBT issues through programming about sexual orientation and gender identity/expression, advocacy, leadership, and visibility. The GLBT Resource Center also collaborates with student organizations, campus departments, and local community organizations to provide students with access to resources, activities, and support services.

Multicultural Services

The Department of Multicultural Services is located in the heart of student activity, on the second floor of the Memorial Student Center. The department goals are to assist underrepresented students transitioning to Texas A&M University while providing academic and educational services for all students. This is accomplished by providing leadership opportunities, co-curricular and extra curricular activities that inform, educate, engage, challenge, and enhance students’ development and global perspectives.

Student Counseling Service

The SCS provides short-term counseling and crisis intervention services to the largest number of students possible within the limits of its resources. SCS staff incorporate into practice awareness, respect, and valuing of cultural differences.

Student Health Services

Student Health Services' mission is to provide Texas A&M students with quality programs of preventive, therapeutic, and primary medical care services, and to educationally prepare them with diverse strategies for success in preserving health and promoting wellness.

Women's Resource Center

The Women's Resource Center serves as a symbol for the university’s commitment to inclusion and equal access for women faculty, staff, and students, and thus celebrates the achievements of women while calling attention to and challenging the barriers that inhibit the full inclusion of women in the A&M community and beyond.
