Texas A&M University Art Galleries
The J. Wayne Stark Galleries host about 14 traveling exhibitions a year. Visitors will see exhibits ranging from the traditional fine arts and crafts to anthropology, archaeology, history, and science. You can also explore the permanent collection, which includes works by Texas artists such as E.M. Buck Schiwetz, John Biggers, H.O. Kelly, Julian Onderdonk and Dawson-Dawson-Watson.
The MSC Forsyth Center Galleries is the home of the Bill and Irma Runyon Art Collections which include one of the world's best collections of English Cameo Glass, 1500 American and English glass objects, and American Paintings. Works include paintings by Mary Cassatt and Frederic Remington, in addition to glass by Louis Comfort Tiffany and Steuben Glass Works.
The Visual Arts Committee is a student run committee that exhibits a wide range of contemporary artists, working in a diversity of style, media and topics. The mission of the MSC Visual Arts Committee is to provide the students at Texas A&M opportunities to connect the visual arts with their personal, professional, and academic lives through art exhibitions (include student work), gallery programs, artist residencies, and travel.
If you have a passion for singing and performing, then Texas A&M Choral Activities has a place for you! There is a long and proud tradition of choral music at Texas A&M University. Choral Activities groups have been in existence at Texas A&M since 1893, beginning with the Texas A&M Glee Club (now the Singing Cadets). Today we are proud to support four primary performing groups including the Century Singers, the Reveliers, the Singing Cadets and the Women’s Chorus. Each group offers a unique musical experience for performers and brings a unique style to performances.
